The analyzed reference: Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging- The foundation of DIBs by Pat Wadors
Pat Wadors is the chief people officer of UKG, and has a lot of experience in scaling world-class talent, organizations - including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Yahoo! Where she was responsible for leading the HR business partner function of the entire global line of business, managing more than 14,500 employees. In her course called Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, she takes us in a delightful way into the realm of diversity, which, according to the author is everything that makes each of us unique. It is what is seen and what is not seen. Diversity is all those elements that make us who we are, and in the way you show who you are, that's diversity.
The inclusion part is the action of creating equity. It's the act of including yourself in the process. It's the act of hiring and trying to implement fair practices in the workplace. According to Pat Wadors, inclusion is all our attempts to embrace and recognize what makes us diverse and make it a welcoming and fair workplace, creating opportunities regardless of cultural differences. Inclusive behaviors begin when we train leaders around racial and cultural inclusion. By now we are inclined to look at the addition of culture, not the fit, by opening our openness to differences, looking for the expansion is us changing the person to fit our company.
Belonging is a human need, it is genetically programmed into each and every one of us. Human beings have the need to belong, it can be in a society or to a group. We seek to fit in. And in fact, we are compelled to belong in our own unique way. I find this quote of hers very beautiful: "It is only when you have that sense of belonging in your heart, that you are part of a community where you can be uniquely you, that you unlock the power of entitlement."
This course available on Linkedin is applicable to companies because it gives us real tools and a great impact to improve diversity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging in companies. Eliminating discrimination in employment and occupation and promoting equality must be a fundamental part of company policy. The more we learn and become aware of the existing gaps order to create solutions and avoid any type of discrimination.
Some time ago I decided to take the LinkedIn course of the famous Pat Wadors, excited and encouraged by my teacher Guy Prokopetz to improve my English and to learn about the topics of diversity and inclusion, which I am passionate about. I believe that all company processes should be adapted and if necessary changed to conform to a policy and guidelines that are truly diverse, and inclusive, and where people of all races feel that they belong to the organization and work teams. It is but to be able to learn much more and to be able to contribute to the companies where I work so that people of all cultures and races feel proud and happy to belong to an inclusive company that seeks the equal welfare of all its employees.

Great job explaining the benefits of inclusion and diversity in the workplace, I just have to comment on one thing. I think striving for diversity in a workplace isn't a good thing because it causes you to favour people's skin colour, culture, or religion over their actual skill set. For example, if a workplace is trying to increase the amount of one certain race, they might favour them over another person who has a better skill set only because of their race, which in turn is racist. I think diversity is a good thing to have but you shouldn't strive to have equal amounts of everybody because then you would be the racist.
